In its second year, Battle of the Tech Bands moved to The Triffid in Newstead for the first time, bringing five bands for a night of tech talent meeting rock and roll. Rex Software, Jumbo Interactive, Epsilon, Technology One, and FoundU all fielded bands to compete, raising funds for Beyond Blue. When the final scores were tallied, SoundU from FoundU took home the win, setting the stage for the competition's continued growth in Brisbane.
